Lydia Mezey is a former Vice President for Nexant’s Utility Services business unit. In this capacity, she focused on the creation, review, and implementation of division-wide operating procedures, processes, training programs, and tools, as well as key budget and program financial management. She was a key contributor to corporate wide policy reviews and updates and process improvement working groups. Lydia gained extensive experience in project financial management, reporting, operations management, large program administration, office operations, administration, and project coordination throughout her last 25 plus years. Prior to her role as the division’s Director, she served as the Manager of Business Operations. Prior to joining the Division, Lydia was the Project Accounting Manager for all of Nexant’s global operations (seven entities in total). In this capacity, she streamlined all of Nexant’s project financial processes and project financial reporting tools and report designs. She maximized the productivity of her team as Nexant doubled in size, holding operating costs for her team steady for more than five years. Lydia holds a BA in Foreign Service and International Relations from Pennsylvania State University and an MBA in International Finance from The American University.
