Selena Worster Walde

Chief Executive Officer

Selena has 15 years of management experience in the energy efficiency and construction industry. She has built and managed teams from 3 – 60 and is passionate about coaching employees with the goal of achieving a more sustainable energy future. While at Nexant, she led the ComEd Small Business Energy Savings program implementation team to increase savings from 6 GWh to over 200 GW in four years. The program won the 2016 Midwest Energy Efficiency Alliance Impact Award. Prior to joining Nexant, Selena was a Project Manager at Mechanical, Inc. where she specialized in managing large HVAC construction projects. She holds a BS and MS in Civil Engineering from University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. Selena is a Registered PE in the State of Illinois and a LEED Accredited Professional. She also was the National Advocacy Co-Representative for the US Green Building Council Illinois Chapter and was in a leadership position with the chapter from 2008–2011.
